Anthony Guida, AIA

Anthony Guida is an architect, educator, and sustainable design leader. He has directed design offices in Los Angeles and Santa Fe and has held faculty positions at the University of Cincinnati, Otis College of Art and Design, UCLA, and the USC School of Architecture. With non-profit think tank Architecture 2030, he developed academic initiatives, professional training, conferences, and publications to advance zero carbon building design in the US and abroad. Anthony is an architect with the National Park Service and serves on the City of Santa Fe’s Historic Districts Review Board.
Gayla Bechtol, AIA

Gayla Bechtol, founder of Gayla Bechtol Architect, practiced deep democracy while leading the citizens of Santa Fe to the award-winning Santa Fe Railyard. GBA is a design-centered architecture/urban design/historic preservation practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico creating award-winning designs for homes, institutions and urban spaces for over 27 years in New Mexico, Colorado and Texas. She received her Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California where she developed a passion for design, theory, love of architecture, context and collaborative planning.
Lisa Gavioli

Having worked in planning, development, and historic preservation for more than 15 years, Lisa Gavioli recognizes that the importance of saving old buildings lies not just in preserving the physical fabric of place but in creating the opportunity for living people to tell their stories, to connect with the past, and to derive meanings that can shape their community’s future. Lisa received her Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning and Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of New Mexico, and studied Ancestral Puebloan archaeology at the University of Arizona, where she received a Master of Arts in Anthropology. Lisa is Project Manager at NV5, Inc. and has previously worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Lila Pickus
COMMUNICATIONS AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

Lila Pickus is a spatial designer with a passion for storytelling. Her work, which straddles disciplines, explores site-specific narratives through the reuse of buildings, landscapes, and discarded materials. Working two-dimensionally as a printmaker and three-dimensionally as an architectural designer, Lila’s research and creative practice draws on physical traces of memory to explore the intersection of architecture, fine art, history, and exhibition design.
Lila holds a Master of Design in Interior Architecture, Adaptive Reuse from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Studio Art from Colorado College. She currently works as an Exhibition Designer with the State of New Mexico’s Department of Cultural Affairs, Museum Resource Division.
Carlos Gemora

Carlos Gemora is an urban planner working to facilitate creative changes in the built environment. He is focused on transformative change, specifically regarding land use, affordable housing, socio-economic justice, and long-term infrastructure planning. Carlos studied regional, community-based, facilitative planning practices at Cornell University and the Evergreen State College and has previously worked in New York and Washington State. He volunteers his time with educational non-profits like Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Telluride Association.
Kris Longley-Postema

Kris Longley-Postema is an inter-disciplinary project manager, exploring the commonalities in the arts and our built environment and how they both serve to increase social equity and justice.
Kris built a career in the entertainment industry managing theater, dance, opera and events for companies such as The Santa Fe Opera, Juilliard Opera, Yale Repertory Theatre, Theatre for a New Audience and SITI Company. He received his MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is the Director of Production for The Santa Fe Opera.
Kris has also worked extensively as a construction owner’s representative. Through projects locally and nationwide he has worked to shift the construction and real estate industries towards more equitable, sustainable and community-oriented projects, and has a particular passion for collaborating on arts facilities.
Deirdre Harris

Deirdre Harris is an architect whose work is motivated by a passion for connecting people with buildings and the natural environment. She grew up on the Canadian prairies and received her education at the University of Manitoba and Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with degrees in architecture and landscape architecture. She has practiced in both fields for over 25 years, working on a wide range of projects in Canada, California, and New Mexico. Deirdre is a senior associate at DNCA architects, where she has focused on a number of award-winning cultural and fine arts projects.
Robert Innis

Always a passionate advocate for design that empowers people and places, Robert Innis applies his 28 years of experience as a designer to working for businesses and organizations committed to design strategy, social impact and cultural change. A graduate of the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP), Robert has created award-winning campaigns, branded community and statewide coalitions, has been a guest speaker, adjunct professor and mentor to design students throughout Northern New Mexico. Robert is the co-owner of Rinse Design and co-founder of the Design Corps—a place-based alliance of design professionals dedicated to cultivating projects that serve the social good. Robert dedicates nearly all of his family time to exploring, hiking and honoring every nook and cranny of New Mexico and the Southwest. (He always hopes to fill the rest with quiet time and reading books!)
Allison Long

Allison Long is an urban planner interested in what makes great public spaces and meaningful walk and bike infrastructure. An avid walker and newish cyclist, Allison understands that good design creates alternate transportation options that are accessible for all ages and abilities. Allison has worked as a municipal planner, economic development data analyst, and federal grant administrator in Texas, where she received her Master in Community and Regional Planning from University of Texas at Austin. Before her work as a planner, she studied sociology and worked in the nonprofit world of Nashville and continues to bring the lens of social equity to her planning work. In her spare time she is hiking or biking the wondrous landscapes of New Mexico!
Ania Pastuszewska

Ania Pastuszewska, a project manager in the construction industry, is a strategist, builder, and mentor. She values the power of teamwork and encourages individual talents to thrive in a collaborative environment. As an industry expert, she advocates for sustainable development that can support the growing human population without sacrificing clean water, dark skies, and the Wild. She attained her BA of Architectural Studies and a minor in Theater from the University of Illinois Chicago and furthered her education with an MBA from the Albers School of Business at Seattle University. Ania lives and practices in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
